Marcia Sant'Anna will be in Melbourne briefly next month representing IPHAN (Brazil's National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage) She has been developing programs in Brazil to protect intangible cultural heritage and indigenous rights.

ATTENTION: Unfortunately Ms Sant'Anna has had to cancel her visit to Melbourne at short notice, so words @bldg50 will take a break in July.

Thursday 7 August 2008 - Melissa Bright and Tarryn Boden from Melbourne-based MAKE Architecture will speak on their experiences designing a birdhide in the parkland below Westgate bridge on a pro-bono basis. Make was matched with the project through the arch-peace probono service.
